The 31st General Meeting Information about the use of nursery room

Here are the details on the nursery room available at the PSJ General Meeting (The University of Tokyo, Hongo Campus). Please see the following information. If you would like to make a reservation, please copy the Registration Form at the bottom of this page onto an E-mail message, and send it to us by 5pm, Wednesday, September 20th, 2017.

I. Management


1. Nursery Room
  The nursery room is open for ages 0 to 12.
  The children will be supervised by the child-care workers from the company Akamon Mammy, entrusted by PSJ. One child-care worker will be available to the following number of children.
  ・Age 0-1: 1
  ・Age 2-3: 2
  ・Age 4-5: 3
  ・Age 6+: 4

  The nursery room will be in the same building as the meeting venue (different floor).
  The nursery room will be available in the following hours:
  ・Saturday, September 30: 9:30am-8:30pm
  ・Sunday, October 1: 9am-5pm
  Registration is necessary. Nursery room is unavailable without a reservation.
  Please set consecutive hours for each day. Please refrain from temporary pick-ups during the reserved hours, except during lunch time.

2. Registration
  Please make a reservation by e-mail by 5pm, Wednesday, September 20, 2017. The person in charge will get back to you within 2-3 days after they receive your e-mail. If you do not hear from them, please try contacting them again.
   If any changes occur after you have made the reservation, please contact them as soon as possible. (Changes may not always be accepted.)

3. Fee
  The service is free of charge.

4. Registration and pick-up procedures
  Please check in at the registration desk, take your child to the nursery room, and hand over the belongings to the child-care worker. Please see the following information regarding belongings.
  Please pick up your child at the designated time. Drop-offs and pick-ups must be done by the same person.

5. Belongings
  -The guardian should bring their driver’s license, health insurance card, maternal handbook, passport, etc. as their personal identification (necessary for drop-off and pick-up).
  -Please bring underwear, disposable diapers, baby wipes, plastic bags, drinks, food (if necessary), hand towel, tissue paper, and change of clothes. Please bring enough disposable diapers if your child’s diapers need to be changed.
  -Please bring a large towel and a pillow if your child needs to take a nap.
  -Please give your child’s food to the child-care worker if your child needs to be fed during the hours. Please refrain from bringing in raw food or food that spoils easily. PSJ, Akamon Mammy, and the child-care worker will not take responsibility when the child falls ill. If you wish to eat together with your child, please use the space outside of the nursery room. (The nursery room is open all day, including lunch time.)
  -Please write the child’s name on all belongings.
  -Please keep all belongings in one bag.

6. Reservation changes and cancelling policy
  Cancellation fee will be charged from the day before. Please contact us at your earliest convenience if changes occur or would like to cancel.
  We cannot take care of children with the following contagious disease: chicken pox, measles, mumps, hand-foot-and-mouth disease, rubella, impetigo, vomition, diarrhea, water warts, contagious conjunctivitis, pertussis, influenza, cold, norovirus, rotavirus, or hemolytic streptococcus. If the illness is not serious and healing, we will make the final decision upon consultation with the child-care worker.
  We may need to contact you in case of an emergency. Please write your mobile phone number in the registration form.
  The guardian must always be at the meeting venue.

II. Request to participate in survey


PSJ will evaluate the Nursery Room service to consider its continuation in future meetings. You will receive a survey after you pick up your child. Your time to fill out the survey is greatly appreciated.
