Schedule This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Phonetic Society of Japan since its foundation. A special ceremony will be held on the first day of the convention to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Society. Regular presentations will take place on the second day of the convention.
80th Anniversary Banquet On Sept. 30, an 80th anniversary banquet will be held at the Hilltop Hotel (Yamanoue Hotel, Honkan, Ginga no Ma). Fees are 8,000 yen for regular attendants and 4,000 yen for students. Please pre-register for the event, by sending your name, contact information, and whether you are a student or not to onseikikaku@yahoo.co.jp. All are welcome.
Directions From JR Ochanomizu Station (Ochanomizu-bashi exit) and Tokyo Metro Ochanomizu Station, walk 5 minutes.
From Tokyo Station:
  • Take JR Chuo Line to Ochanomizu (130 yen), or
  • Take Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line to Ochanomizu (160 yen)

From Haneda Airport:
  • Take Tokyo Monorail to Hmamatsu-cho, then take JR Yamanote Line to Kanda, then take JR Chuo Line to Ochanomizu (620 yen, approx. 40 minutes), or
  • Take Keihin Kyuko Line to Shinagawa, then take JR Yamanote Line to Kanda, then take JR Chuo Line to Ochanomizu (560 yen, approx. 45 minutes)

80th Anniversary banquet
